Louise (Telihold’s Satchmo) is a new AKC Champion
Louis was shown and finished from the Bred-By class and is Telihold’s second Bred-By Champion. Catherine did an amazing job with Louise putting all her majors on her, but due to a very special delivery (Isabelle Violet McHughs), Brian put the last few single points on Louise to finish her. Louise is an amazing girl that has a heart of gold and loves to be the center of attention. We are very proud of her!
Simon (Telihold’s Kodachrome) is a new AKC Champion
Trinity Valley Vizsla Club (TVVC) holds it’s first B-Match – March 26, 2011
The TVVC received it’s AKC sanctioning and held it’s first B-Match Saturday, March 26, 2011 in conjunction with the Ft. Worth Kennal Club Dog Show. This is great news for the club (of which we are proud members!) and the match was a lot of fun for all it’s participants, including Brian who showed Amy and Sean Barnes’ Birdie. You can check out more about the club, the event, and find some very entertaining photos at the Trinity Valley Vizsla Club website, http://www.trinityvvc.com/.

Bird work in 2011 (January 2, 2011)
We had a great Sunday out at our favorite training area. We met up with a lot of friends and enjoyed a good day of dog work on quail. What a way to start the new year. Also, I was able to get a good friend out with us to see the Vizslas in their environment. It always feels good to share our Vizslas with new people and introduce them to such great experience. Seeing a Vizsla lock on point, old fence row and rolling landscape in the background…it doesn’t get much better than that!
I can’t believe our little Ellie Monster is already 11. She is an amazing Vizsla. She has so much character, and everyone that meets her quickly falls in love with her. To say she has some personality is an understatement. This dog has more drive (not all focused on hunting) and will go all day, even at her senior age. We celebrated Ellie’s b-day by heading to the training field and letting her find bird after bird. What a treat!
We had a great Christmas (which included new super hero PJ’s) and hope everyone had a safe and Merry Christmas as well.
